This year I'm fronting up and practicing what i preach! Plunket is a huge part of so many new parents lives and i want to make sure its going strong when my children have babies. So I'm challenging you all to join me by holding a "Blue Day" at your work place or school.
All you have to do is ask everyone to wear something blue on Friday the 23rd of march and bring a gold coin donation to go to Plunket. Easy as that!
Or if you'd like you can sponsor me. When donations on my page get to $100 i will dye my hair Plunket Blue for the whole week in honor of Blue Day!! (though lets see if we can get even higher than $100)
If you'd like to hold a Blue Day let me know and ill get you a poster and donation bucket (and could even swing some colouring in pictures and balloons if you like to!) and if youd like a visit from Plunket on your Blue Day let me know asap so i can book you in (i might even be bale to get our friendly bear Big Blue to visit if you get in quick)
To help raise a bundle is to put families in New Zealand first.
Today’s parents face isolation, financial stress, and being disconnected to the help they need but I believe all families should have the proper support to help raise healthy happy children.
Plunket has been supporting parents for more than 100 years. For them it’s more than checking child development, their work is about standing with a family ensuring they have someone to turn to in those times when the going gets tough or life turns dark.
Join me by making a donation and put families and the young children of New Zealand first. Together we can give every child the best start in life.
